Saurabh Tandon
Founder and Managing Partner (Affiliate)Saurabh is based in the Bay Area and has over 20 years of Investment Banking & Business Advisory experience. He has helped early stage ventures through the entire cycle, from early investments to scaling up and finding new markets to finally being acquired by large corporations. He mentors and advises many early stage technology companies in Silicon Valley.
He has advised many Fortune Corporations on their India entry strategy through investments & collaborations, besides helping large Indian groups & companies form alliances in USA. Some of the firms involved were Fiserv, Nuance, Evercore Partners, Mahindra Group, and Iflex (now Oracle India).
He is a Board member and Charter member of TiE Silicon Valley and also serves Board of PACE Universal, a California based not for profit, working on educating the girl child living in extreme poverty. PACE has a school in Piyali village near Kolkata. Rotarian & a Paul Harris Fellow - Involved with Youth entrepreneurship, as Rotaract Chair & TiE Youth.
Vinay Khatu
Founder and Managing PartnerFounder and Managing Partner, Vinay has for over 20 years executed M&A and capital raising transactions for established as well as emerging companies.
Vinay trained as a banker with J M Financial in Mumbai and then went on to be a founding partner at Cipher Capital where he led the Technology practice and structured multiple cross border transactions with MNCs. Over his career, Vinay has been involved in successfully closing over 40 transactions involving hundreds of millions of dollars in a variety of industries.
Vinay holds an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and a BE in mechanical engineering from the Pune University.
Umesh Bhatia
Umesh brings in significant expertise in technology practice and has over 20 years experience in strategic global outsourcing and building large teams in the US, Europe, Japan, China, India, and Australia. During his career, Umesh has led high performance teams at Capgemini, Cognizant, Oracle, EXL, and Steria Group.
Umesh has a Masters in Management Studies from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and an MS from Pennsylvania State University, State College.
Puneet Vyas
Puneet has over 7 years of operational and investment banking experience. He trained as a banker at BOB Capital Markets where he was involved in debt syndication, project finance, IPO, private equity and corporate advisory.
At Alpheas, Puneet has independently handled a number of transactions and sharpened his skills in private equity and M&A, while at the same time built relationships with a number of investors.
Puneet holds an MBA from NMIMS and a BE in Electronics and Telecommunication from Mumbai University.
Ankita Lakhotia
Ankita has over 5 years of operational and investment banking experience. She was earlier at Aqua Logistics in the Corporate Finance function where she assisted in raising capital through an IPO, GDR as well as debt. Previously she was an analyst at Blend Financial. Ankita has been involved in various types of transactions at Alpheas and has led many initiatives in the environment vertical.
Ankita holds an MBA from Indira Institute of Management.
Rajeev Srivastava
Rajeev has over 20 years of global operating and investing experience in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He is the Managing Partner of Basil Capital Partners and has a track record of incubating, building and managing global enterprises.
Prior to starting out as a venture capitalist and private equity investor in 2006, Rajeev founded Apar Infotech in 1996 in Singapore and after merging with Ness Technologies, listed the company on Nasdaq with about $ 300 M in Revenue grew it to $ 60m and brought in Insight Capital Partners and Warburg Pincus were financial partners in Apar. Earlier he worked at iGate and TCS.
Rajeev is currently an investor and active board member in companies like Encora, Apar Holding, Cignex - Datamatics, Servion., Gavs Technologies.
Rajeev holds a BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and an MBA from Mumbai University.
Somshankar Das
Som has over 30 years of experience in various roles in management, high tech and venture capital businesses. His last role was as Founder and CEO of e4e a Business Solutions Company operating between the US and India with a team of over 3,000.
Earlier he was a General Partner with Walden International, a tier 1 global venture capital firm where he specialized in semiconductor, software, IT service, and Internet infrastructure markets. Som was instrumental in creating a portfolio of service companies including WebEx (NASDAQ: WEBX), Mind Tree Consulting, Techspan (acquired by Headstrong), Sierra Atlantic, and Infotech Enterprises.
Som has over twelve years of management experience in the US semiconductor industry, and was actively involved in establishing Malaysia 's first commercial $1.5 B silicon wafer foundry during his tenure as Director for Worldwide Business Development at VLSI Technology, Inc. Prior to this he was an Officer in the elite Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in India for 11 years.
Som holds an MBA from Stanford University and an MS in Physics and Mathematics from Calcutta University.
